It was reported on August 10 that the Beijing Consumers Association recently conducted a joint quality comparison test on furniture products. A total of 115 samples were tested, including 6 categories. Among them, sofa samples such as Ai Ruisi and Hengxiangjia do not meet the standards.
The report showed that the samples involved Chengwai Home Furnishing Market, Jimei Home Furnishing, Ritterworth Electrical and Mechanical Building Materials Furniture City, Jiahe Jiamei Shilihe Home Furnishing Mall, and online platforms such as Suning Tesco, Tmall, JD.com, and Pinduoduo.
It is reported that after testing, among 115 furniture products, the overall compliance rate of the products is 62.61%. The sofa compliance rate was 69.7%; the wooden furniture compliance rate was 56.25%; the children’s furniture compliance rate was 40%; the bunk bed compliance rate was 10%. A fabric sofa of Ai Ruisi failed the test of "mechanical properties/seat and armrest durability".
